The ARTUR project aims first to assess the impact of tourism on air quality and secondly to investigate how air quality could be a criterion to increase the competitiveness of a tourism destination.

A communication entitled “ Emissions from tourism and its impact on air quality: the ARTUR project” was presented by Alexandra Monteiro at the 38th International Technical Meeting on Air Pollution Modelling and its Application (ITM 2021), held from 18 to 22 October in Barcelona, Spain.

A communication entitled “Tourism and Air Pollution in Italian regions" was presented at the 8th International Conference on Energy and Environment Research (ICEER 2021).

A communication entitled “Exploring the links between Tourism Growth and Environmental Pollution: perspectives at a Regional European Level" was presented at the International Conference on Economics, Energy and Environment (ICEEE'2021).
